Activities
Me as an Egyptian
After reading one of the suggested reading books, write a short paragraph explaining
what you liked and did not like about the book. In a second paragraph, on a different page, write a short story explaining
what it would be like if you were Egyptian. You can include details about your status in Egypt, your family, your wealth,
your friends, pets, etc.
Hieroglyphics
Look at ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, make sure to see all the details that were
put into making these incredible symbols. Your activity is to create your own Hieroglyphic and meaning behind it. In class
we will present everyones NEW hiroglyphics. As a team we will make a silly story containing everyone's hieroglyphics.
